We welcomed Mr. Lawrence Watmough to our class in late April. His family has lived in this area for a long time. Here is one of the stories from the binder he brought to share with us. It was written by Mr. Watmough’s sister!

Mr. Lawrence Watmough’s brother who is in some of the pictures in this post passed away last week. We would like to dedicate this post to his memory.
Arthur Watmough of Fort Macleod, beloved husband of Janet Watmough, passed away on May 1, 2012 at the age of 73 years. Besides his loving wife of 51 years, Arthur is survived by his sons Ron (Sue), Ray (Bonnie), Darcy (Veronica), Shawn (Janet); 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers Jim (Ila), Lawrence (Kala); sister Alice; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by his parents Jim and Grace.
